Celebration of the Olympics in 2012 in conjunction of London
2012 from 27 July to August 12, 2012 with participation of the
British Embassy in Khartoum
The Opening Day
Coincide with the opening of the Olympic
Games in London on July 27, 2012 .The program starts to ignite
the Olympic flame and carry them over the course of the race
until the finish line accompanied by the momentum of fireworks
and music of the armed forces where they are handed over to the
Khartoum State Mayor .
Beginning of the opening program : Friday,
July 27, 2012 at 9 pm . The events begins as follows:
First : Marathon Cambridge for children :
The starting point: According to the groups (please see groups
below): Children has been divided the into two groups:
Group A: from the age of 7 years to 10
years Time of move: at 9:30 pm: race distance of 1.5 km Group B:
from the age of 11 years to 14 yearsTime of move: at 9:45 pm: 2
km
Second: Road Cycling race for children The
starting point: According to the groups (please see groups
below)
Group A: from the age of 7 years to 10
years: race distance of 1.5 km
Group B: from the age of 11 years to 14
years : race distance 2 km
The coronation ceremony at the eleventh
hour evening the distribution of prizes, medals and certificates
to the winners and awards of the British embassy in the writing
contest and ends with the celebration at the eleventh hour and a
half pm.
Training: Been agreed with the Sudan
Olympic Committee to provide training courses for the
participants held at the sport city in Khartoum before the
event include the technique of the race and processors fatigue
and cramps and how to start and get ready, according to the
tables that can be obtained from the Cambridge schools.
